Ms. Stephanie Henderson

A graduate of the Douglas College Theatre Diploma Program, SFU Contemporary Arts BFA Theatre Program, SFU BEd Program, and SFU MEd Arts Education Program, Ms. Henderson strives to challenge audiences creating theatre that is risky, blunt, challenging and eccentric. She has been creating theatre for over 15 years as a performer, director, playwright, and producer and now, is so grateful to be back as a part of Frank Hurt Theatre and Stingworks Productions. Ms. Henderson is Co-Artistic Director of Resounding Scream Theatre, a company she built with a colleague 10 years ago that has allowed her to take her work across Canada. She loves teaching high school performing arts because they tend to find her outlandishly quirky approaches more endearing than abnormal.

Mr. Alex Reed

Mr. Reed is an artist and educator residing in Surrey, BC.. In 2007, he received a Bachelor in Fine Arts from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. In 2010 he completed a Bachelor's in Education with a specialization in Secondary Arts Education at the University of British Columbia.

Alex takes his subject matter from the old and sometimes abandoned homes in Surrey, that are slated for rezoning and redevelopment. His work captures a transitional period for a historically agricultural area in the grips of rapid urbanization. Included in his paintings are found objects, and the detritus of urbanization (spray paint, trash, objects found on site).
